2010 Lake George Jazz Festival Poster Unveiled

"Jazz at the Lake," the poster for the 27th annual Lake George Jazz Weekend, was unveiled this week and will be available for distribution soon, said John Strong, the executive director of the Lake George Arts Project. The poster was designed by the Gruskin Group, which has sponsored the Jazz Festival since 2008. "Jazz at the Lake has become an essential part of the Adirondacks' arts scene and provides our community with an extraordinary opportunity to hear some of the world's most talented musicians. But most of all, the Weekend has become a time-honored tradition and a true joy to all who attend," said Ken Gruskin, the founder of Gruskin Group.

This year, if all goes according to plan, the poster will be available as a limited edition, fine print, said John Strong.

The 2010 Lake George Jazz Weekend," which will be held September 18-19 in Shepard Park, will feature Daniel Kelly's Emerge Trio, David Amram Quartet, the Randy Newman Project, Christian Scott Quintet, Sharel Cassity Quintet, Buster Williams Quartet with Stefon Harris, and Samuel Torres Group - Yaounde.

The Gruskins have already committed to being a primary sponsor for the 2011 Lake George Jazz Weekend.
